Police Searching For Van Involved In Hit And Run Accident

Charleston Police are asking for your help finding a white van, they say was involved in a hit and run on the James Island Connecter last week.

Police say around 11:20 Thursday night, the van which is described as possibly being a Ford econoline, hit a pedestrian who was riding a bicycle about a half mile before the Harborview Road exit.  Police say the victim in the accident was transported to the hospital.

According to Charleston Police PIO Charles Francis, the van has damage on the driver's side, and several white females were in the van at the time of the collision.
