Eric has called the Lowcountry home since he became a member of the ABC News 4 team, in November 2009. Since that time he's anchored the evening, weekend broadcasts. You'll also see Eric reporting on various projects, like his investigation into the misuse of handicapped placards in downtown Charleston.
He began his career in the news broadcast industry in 2004, with stops at KTEN in Sherman, TX and Albany, NY, before arriving in Charleston. While in Texas, Eric reported and anchored both news and sports, and holds multiple honors from the Oklahoma and Texas Associated Press. After Texas it was on to WTEN-TV in Albany, where Eric covered everything from the annual pageantry at the Saratoga National Racecourse, to the controversial exit of former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer in 2008.
Away from work Eric devotes some of his free time to the North Charleston Dream Center mentoring program. He also enjoys playing golf, as well as staying active outdoors and exercising.
Eric's an Ohio native and graduate of The Ohio State University.
