2010 First Day Festival

Liberty Square at the SC Aquarium
and the Charleston Maritime Center

The First Day Festival is a community-wide celebration of education and the beginning of a new school year. Throughout the day, students, parents, and educators will enjoy an afternoon of entertainment, free food and school supplies, and information on student support services. Attendees will also be able to visit the SC Aquarium, take boat rides in the harbor, and participate in many other exciting activities. The festival is continuing to take steps to reduce its environmental impact, to promote health and wellness, and to encourage business involvement in education.
