COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- State ethics investigators say South Carolina's lieutenant governor used campaign donations for thousands of dollars for meals at restaurants, a family vacation to Washington, computer equipment and a gown for his wife.

The allegations are contained in documents the State Ethics Commission released Friday that detail more than 100 civil charges faced by Lt. Gov. Ken Ard.

Ard's use of campaign money has been under scrutiny since he won office in November. He has said he will cooperate with investigators.

The documents also say Ard used donations for hundreds of dollars in of gasoline and for a trip to see the University of South Carolina play football in Atlanta.

The commission originally said Ard faced 93 charges. On Friday it upped the count to 106. Each carries a potential fine of $2,000.
