Small rain chances even into the weekend

Staying hot with low rain chances through the weekend

Updated:
High pressure will continue to dominate here in the Lowcountry, which means more quiet weather is on the way! With the high sitting offshore, southerly winds will be pumping in a little more moisture off the Atlantic and humidity levels will be creeping up a bit. We will stay high and dry tomorrow with plenty of bright sunshine, so have the sunglasses handy! It will stay be nice and dry for high school football games all across the area tomorrow night. There will only be small chances for rain this weekend with slightly better chances early next week. Temperatures will remain above average in the afternoons with highs in the lower 90s, so it will be a little toasty for August. Morning lows will be in the 70s again starting Saturday.

Cristobal is still a hurricane with winds of 75 mph. It is moving quickly off to the northeast heading toward the Northern Atlantic...roughly 500 miles south-southwest of Halifax, Nova Scotia. The rest of the tropics are quiet at this time.

Thursday Tides:

L: 4:30pm        H: 10:26pm
