Attention, Colbert Nation! Your fearless leader is returning to his roots on Friday.

Stephen Colbert, political satirist and popular host of The Colbert Report, is taking over the Gaillard Auditorium at 8 p.m. on July 1.

The Charleston native is a favorite on Comedy Central and makes stops in the Lowcountry from time-to-time.
