It's a weekend packed with live music, family fun and fireworks. Sport your red, white and blue and celebrate the U.S. of A throughout the Lowcountry with one (or more!) of these events happening this weekend.

Saturday, July 2:

-Shrimp Records Presents: A Salute to America

The Pour House

5 p.m., music starts at 9 p.m.

$13 at the door, $11 in advance

Music from Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent, Bill Carson, Jamie Resch, Sadler Vaden, Jack Burg, Lee Barbour, the Brillers, and more

-Declaration of Independence reading

Middleton Place: Home of Declaration of Independence signer Arthur Middleton

1 p.m.

Free with general admission

-Seabrook Island fireworks

Seabrook Island Club Driving Range

Spectator area opens at 4 p.m.; fireworks at 9 p.m.

 

Sunday, July 3:

-Declaration of Independence reading

Middleton Place: Home of Declaration of Independence signer Arthur Middleton

1 p.m.

Free with general admission

-Red, White & Blue on the Green

Summerville Town Square

5 p.m. - 8 p.m.; fireworks at 9 p.m.

$3 for game wristband

-Edwin McCain Band with Chris Holly

The Windjammer

Doors open at 9 p.m. Show starts at 10 p.m.

Tickets are $25.

 

Monday, July 4:

-Patriots Point 4th of July Celebration

Yorktown Aircraft Carrier

Just before 9 p.m.

Free Admission / $5 parking fee per vehicle

-4th of July CelebratIOn, featuring Band Blast 2011!

I'On Mt. Pleasant

9:30 a.m.: Parade near Perseverance

10 a.m.: Salute on the Square

6 p.m. - 9 p.m.: Band Blast 2011 at Westlake Amphitheater

-Seabrook Island 4th of July Parade

Seabrook Island Road Loop

9:30 a.m.

-Salute From the Shore (F-16s will fly over the S.C. coast as a salute to our armed forces)

S.C. beaches

Flyover leaves N.C. border at 1 p.m. and lasts until 1:20 p.m.

-City of North Charleston July 4th Celebration

Riverfront Park

Live music from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.; fireworks at dark 

-4th of July at the S.C. Aquarium

$60/adults, $30/children

7 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

-Uncle Sam Jam

Mt. Pleasant Pier

7 p.m., live music starts at 8 p.m.

Fireworks after dark

$10 per person

-Folly Beach fireworks

At dark

-Kiawah Island Fireworks

 Night Heron Park soccer field

 9:15 p.m.

-Fireworks Celebration and Hair of the Dog

Joe Riley Park (RiverDogs Stadium)

6:35 p.m. vs. August GreeJackets

RiverDogs will wear special red,white and bluse caps. Fireworks after the game.

-Town of Summerville Celebration

4:30 p.m. - 9:30pm

Jerry Blackwell Sports Complex at Gahagan Park - 515 W. Boundary Street

Fireworks, Music, Food & Fun - Bring chairs/blankets
