Tulsa's Rally Falls Short as San Antonio Wins

Posted: Updated:

It was quite the South Texas pitching duel between the Drillers' Christian Freidrich and the Missions' Rob Musgrave.

San Antonio's solo home run in the bottom of the first inning was the only scoring of the game until the top of the ninth.

That's when Tulsa would score two on a James Cesario double, putting the Drillers just three outs away from a 2-1 win.

Ali Solis came through in the clutch for San Antonio, though, with his own two run RBI double that gave the Missions the 3-2 win.

These two teams are back at it on Monday from Wolffe Stadium.  First pitch is set for 7:05.
