CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- The "Thriller" Boat definitely lived up to its name as the Lowcountry Live crew hopped aboard and, well, hoped for the best.
The bright yellow power catamaran is more than just a boat. Covering about 30-35 miles in an hour, it moves fast enough for the speed enthusiast but slow enough that you can enjoy the scenic views from the Charleston Harbor.
Our trip took us all the way to the Morris Island lighthouse -- an excursion that we all would love to take again.
Many people ask, "Will I get wet?"
Well it's safe to say that you will considering you are on a fast-moving boat.
Most don't get soaked, but ultimately, the likelihood you will get wet depends on how rough the water is.
Is The Thriller worth the trip?
Our tour was definitely exciting. It seems great for the tourists, family coming into town, or the local tourist that is just looking for something to do during the beautiful Charleston summer season.
