Boy killed by a top loader will be laid to rest this weekend

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A boy killed in an accident at a North Charleston shipping and cargo company will be laid to rest Saturday.

Police say 12 year old Corion Baptiste died after he was run over by a piece of construction equipment at  ConGlobal Industries on Spruill Avenue in North Charleston. They say he and three other boys sneaked into the facility and got behind the wheel of a top loader.

A public visitation will be held Friday, July 15, from 3 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the Smith McNeal Funeral Home.

Funeral services are Saturday, July 16, at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church on Reynolds Avenue in North Charleston.
