Drillers Bats Fall Silent as Arkansas Wins

Posted: Updated:

Tulsa collected three hits off Arkansas Travelers pitcher Orangel Arenas in the first inning, scoring one run.

They would get just three more hits the entire game, as the Travelers shut down the Drillers, 9-4.

Tim Wheeler hit his league-leading 25th homer in the first inning.  But Arkansas responded with seven runs before the night was over.  Tulsa didn't hit the board again until the seventh inning.

These two teams close out their four game series Sunday night.  First pitch is set for 7:05pm.
