CHARLESTON, S.C. -- You won't know who to cheer for when your favorite Lowcountry Highrollers split up and duke it out at one of this season's rowdiest bouts.

Last year the punk rocker Holy City Heartbreakers and the camouflaged Swamp Foxes, battled twice, each emerging victorious at one bout. This year they have a little sister to contend with, a team of sassy sailor girls known as the Ashley Riverdolls.

Sibling Rivalry starts Saturday, July 23 at The Citadel's McAlister Field House, 171 Moultrie St. in downtown Charleston. Doors open at 4 p.m., and the bout begins at 5 p.m.

We'll have beer and music by DJ duo Cassidy & the Kid and halftime entertainment from Homespun Hoops. Keep partying afterward at Burns Alley at 354 1/2 King St.

Bout admission is $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Children 10 and younger get in free. A portion of proceeds will benefit Lowcountry Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (LEAP), a local nonprofit which pairs people with horses to help overcome trauma and mental health challenges.
