R.B. Stall announces new football coach, athletic director

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A spokesman with Charleston County School District has confirmed that empty positions at R.B. Stall for an athletic director and football coach have now been filled.

Johnny Boykin, II has been hired as the new coach and athletic director.

Boykin is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and previously lived in Greensboro, N.C. for 20 years.

He spent 11 of 13 seasons as a defensive coordinator at various schools in North Carolina. For the past four years, he served as the defensive coordinator for Ragsdale High School in Jamestown, North Carolina.

Boykin has coached 12 players who are currently playing or coaching on the college level.
