Emmy-nominated journalist Nikki Gaskins is a Lowcountry native who's excited to finally be home. In fact, Nikki got her first real "taste" of the business while interning at WCIV - ABC News 4 nearly a decade ago.
Before returning "home," Nikki was an anchor and crime reporter at FOX 28 WJCL in Savannah, Georgia. While at WJCL, Nikki hosted and produced Savannah's Most Wanted, a localized edition of America's Most Wanted. Prior to WJCL, Nikki anchored, reported, and produced newscasts at WALB-TV in Albany, Georgia, and at WMBF-TV in Myrtle Beach.
Nikki holds a B.A. in broadcast journalism, with a minor in Spanish, from the University of South Carolina.
Nikki currently calls Goose Creek home, was born in North Charleston but grew up in Berkeley County.
Away from the cameras and the newsroom, Nikki loves shopping, sight seeing, playing tennis, bike riding, hanging with friends, catching up on her beauty sleep, dining out, and watching the latest movie in theaters.
Nikki looks forward to covering the stories that matter to you most. She can be reached at: ngaskins@abcnews4.com.
