He's a familiar name around the Lowcountry, and this Saturday, he'll be making a stop in Summerville.
World famous marine life artist and conservationist Guy Harvey will be at the Summerville Palmetto Moon location from 1:30 p.m. until 4 p.m. before heading over to the South Carolina Aquarium later in the afternoon.
Harvey is in town celebrating what South Carolina's organizations are doing to protect marine life. In May and June, Palmetto Moon raised $15,000 for the Coastal Conservation Association of South Carolina and the Sea Turtle Rescue Program at the Aquarium from its sales of exclusive Guy Harvey t-shirts.
At 1:30, Harvey will present a check to the CCA SC before he meets with fans. He will also present a check to the Sea Turtle Rescue Program at 5:30.
