Tulsa used a well-timed fifth inning to beat Midland 4-2, sweeping the Rockhounds 3-0.
The Drillers plated four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 4-2 lead. Midland didn't help its own cause, as a throwing error on a grounder to shortstop by Hector Gomez allowed three of the four runs to score.
Pitcher Dan Houston got the win, moving to 4-3 on the season. Tulsa doesn't get any time to rest, as Frisco comes to ONEOK Field for a three game series beginning Saturday.
First pitch is set for 7:05PM.
