MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- There's still six months and counting until the Cooper River Bridge Run, but we already know the design many of you will be sporting.

There were 80 different design entries this year, and then big winner was unveiled Wednesday.

Local artist, Greg Rawls created the design for the poster and t-shirt. Rawls used glass in the original piece and says the Lowcountry's landscape is his inspiration.

"I create my work in kiln formed glass and my motivation is about the colors of the Lowcountry, the sea, the marsh, the sunsets," he said. "So I tried to capture that in glass for the poster and celebrate the bridge run at the same time."

The 35th annual Cooper River Bridge Run is set for March 31st of 2011. You have until February 1st to get the early registration discount.
