CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Holy City will remember the 10-year anniversary of the terrorist attacks with a commemoration concert.
It will be held this Sunday, September 11th, at Marion Square from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. There will be music from members of the Charleston Community Band, the Charleston Men's Chorus, the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Chorus, the College of Charleston and the Citadel.
It will honor and remember our first responders, military service men and women, and those killed on September 11, 2001.
The concert is being held in partnership with Operation R&R, a non-profit organization designed to provide service men and women an opportunity to reconnect with their spouses and children on vacation or upon their return from Iraq or Afghanistan.
