Murder suspect to be brought back to Charleston

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Officials with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office have confirmed that the suspect in a violent stabbing death that took place on Friday will be transported to Charleston later today.

Chesley Black will face murder charges in the death of Amanda Kalman Black.

At approximately 4:15 p.m., The Charleston County Sheriff's Office responded to 2103 Fife Lane, West Ashley on report of a possible stabbing.

Upon arrival deputies met with Charleston Police officers and upon entry into the residence located a deceased female, later identified by the Charleston County Coroners Office as Amanda Kalman Black. Detectives began searching for Chesley Black Jr., W/M, 29, DOB: 11-20-1981, for questioning.

Black was located around midnight Friday, in Sumter County, SC and has been held at the Sumter County Jail pending his return to Charleston County.
