CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Consider this weekend a dream within a dream for Wando HS grad Christina Glover.

Now playing for her dream school, the University of South Carolina, she got to play a tournament in her hometown of Charleston.

"It's great, I love the team, the coaches, really been a positive experience" says the junior.

Glover was a dominant force when she played at Wando for her mom, Alexis Glover. Now, a junior at USC, she is playing for just her second coach.

"I love my mom, she's a great coach, but its really cool to play for other coaches," she said.

Glover has always set goals and achieved them- first, playing for the Gamecocks.

Now that she's a junior, she says "the SEC is really competitive, real fun to play in, its worth all of the hard work to play these teams. We want to finish in the top half of the conference and then hopefully make it to the tourney. That is our ultimate goal."
