DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) - Georgia businessman Herman Cain spoke at one of Rep. Tim Scott's 'First in the South' Presidential Town Hall meetings Saturday, at Daniel Island School.

Cain, the CEO of Godfather's Pizza told supporters his experience as head of a successful pizza chain makes him more valuable than the other candidates.

"We have a guy in the White House who can't make pizza much less an economy," Cain said.

At the event Cain explained the basis of his "999" plan. If elected he plans to propose a 9% sales tax, a 9% business tax, and a 9% income tax.

"The reason we are in such a mess is because the government has not been run like a business, and it can be run like a business," Cain explained.

Another big reason Cain said he can be more effective was because he has never been elected.

"I'm the only candidate who has never had a political office. So I don't have any favors to return."

After the question and answer session those in attendance were given free Godfather's pizza.
