2 sent to MUSC following I-26 accident - WCIV-TV | ABC News 4 - Charleston News, Sports, Weather

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Only one lane of traffic was open on I-26 eastbound near the Rutledge exit for a majority of the afternoon on Tuesday.

Also, traffic was diverted off the interstate onto Rutledge Avenue.

Officials say it was all the result of an accident that happened at around 2:15 p.m. when a driver lost control of his car and hit a driver in another lane near the Rutledge Avenue exit.

Both drivers have been transported to MUSC. Their conditions are unknown.
