CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV)-- A late night trist turned into trespassing charges for a young couple caught having intercourse at the Charleston Museum.

Charleston Police officers responded to an alarm going off at the Charleston Museum around 3am October 14th. They found a door to the Round Room open and found a young couple having sex on the floor.

According to an incident report, officers then asked 29-year old Michael Miller, who was completely nude and 22-year-old Nicole Huss, who was partially nude, to get dressed. Officers said, a strong odor of alcohol was noted as well as slurred speech and stumbling. The woman reportedly did not observe that her undewear was stuck to the bottom of her shoe.

The couple reportedly told police they had met at a bar and were walking down Meeting Street when they saw the open door. They were both arrested and charged with trespassing.

The Round Room is a classroom used for meetings and is not open to the public.
