BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) -- Clements Ferry Road in Berkeley County is now open after a multi-vehicle wreck had it shut down for hours early Friday morning.

The wreck happened near Sanders Farm Lane just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday.  Authorities at the scene say three vehicles were damaged. A tractor trailer ended up near the tree line and it was heavily damaged. There are also eight 300,000 lb. steel coils that were on that truck.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol has charged 47-year-old Therese Jenkins with DUI. They say she was driving an SUV and pulled out in front of the tractor trailer.

The driver of the tractor trailer hit the SUV, ran of the road and overturned. Authorities say the driver and passenger in the tractor trailer were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
