MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV)—A Lowcountry woman, is reaching for the stars and ready to sing her heart out for a chance at $25,000.

When she's not busy helping to cook up some of America's favorite burgers and fries, Julie Marion of Monks Corner is practicing and perfecting her pitch.

Marion and other McDonalds USA restaurant employees from across the country are vying for the top spot in the fast-food chain's 4th Voice of McDonalds Global Singing Contest.

Now, it's up to McDonalds Customers to help decide which of the top 22 singing hopefuls will continue on.

Beginning November 1st through November 30, members of the public can voice their choice at www.voiceofmcdonalds.com to help decide who has what it takes to advance in the competition and move one step closer to becoming the next of voice of McDonalds.
