WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCIV) -- Long-time Colleton County head football coach Leroy Riley said he has agreed to resign.

Riley told Sports 4 on Wednesday he and the school have come to an agreement that he step down in May of 2012 as head football coach and athletic director.

Riley has worked at the school for 24 years, most of those spent at Walterboro High School before it became Colleton County.

Rile is the winningest head coach in school history, however the school is in the midst of a 23-game losing streak. The coach says he will pursue ministry work when his coaching career ends after the school year.
