(Joe O'Neil/WCIV)CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- The young patient's faces lit up with joy, as the entertainers filled the room with music, dance and laughs.
On Monday morning, Fun Ship Freddy along with some of the crew from Carnival Fantasy brought holiday cheer to MUSC's Children's Hospital.
The appearance featured a show that even included magic and break dancing. The event was all a part of Carnival's year long partnership with the hospital.
"Being out of Charleston has made it special because we get to come to the Children's Hospital, see the kids, entertain them and just make a bond with them," Cruise Director, Risa Barnes said.
Barnes says this is 5th visit to see the kids. Carnival leaders hope to keep coming in the future.
