SEABROOK ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- Authorities say an early Christmas morning burglary resulted in an undetermined amount of rolled coins being stolen.

According to Charleston County Sheriff's spokesman Major Jim Brady, deputies responded to an alarm at the BB&T Bank on Seabrook Island Road around 4:15 a.m.

"Upon arrival deputies discovered that unknown suspect(s) had tampered with the electrical box at the location, then used an unknown device to pry the front door open," Brady said.

Once inside the bank, Brady said the suspect(s) took rolled coins out of several teller drawers that were pried open. Authorities say the description of the suspect(s) are not available at this time.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Crimestoppers at 554-1111.
