NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police say a 24-year-old man turned a gun on himself, after shooting a 21-year-old woman and her mother.

Around 6 p.m. Friday night, North Charleston police responded to a domestic situation at a home on Victory Lane. Police say when officers entered the home they found three people shot.

According to investigators, the suspect, identified as Kevin Drayton, and his female acquaintance Desma Doctor, got into an argument.  Shortly after, Drayton shot Doctor.

Police say Doctor's mother was also shot when she entered the room and attempted to get between her daughter and Drayton.  Drayton then reportedly turned the gun on himself.

All three victims were rushed to MUSC, where Drayton and Doctor were pronounced dead. The mother is still listed in serious but stable condition.

At this time, the relationship between Drayton and the two women is unclear.
