WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCIV) -- A lunchtime Newt Gingrich campaign stop in Walterboro was more than a gathering of supporters, it also played host to dozens of undecided conservative voters looking for the gem to help sway their vote.

Among those was Mike Kuszmaul of Walterboro, who described himself as an undecided conservative voter concerned with getting Barack Obama out of the White House.

"I'm open right now still." Kuszmaul said. "I want to see what he has to say."

Kuszmaul is a concerned voter, a voter concerned with the current status of employment in the country. He's also worried about the amount of money the country spends on helping foreign governments.

So he drove Walterboro roads lined with Rick Perry campaign signs to the BBQ held by his friend Randy White..

As fumes of pulled pork and coleslaw filled the air, Gingrich spoke to the gathering of media folk and avid outdoorsmen about the importance of conservation, the Constitution and uprooting corruptness in Washington.

He spoke highly of Rick Perry and how he cherished the Texas governor's endorsement. He said the American forefathers ensured the pursuit of happiness, not "happiness stamps."

Gingrich said if he wins South Carolina, he will become the GOP nominee, and bring the Reagan conservativeness, he says the country needs.

It's the type of change voters like Mike Kuszmaul are looking to find.
