Oxycodone taken in robbery at Neeses store

NEESES, S.C. – A Piggly Wiggly grocery store and pharmacy in Neeses on Savannah Highway in Orangeburg was robbed of Oxycodone on January 17. Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell is seeking the help of the community to locate the robber.

The man allegedly entered the store at 7:30 p.m. and went directly to the restroom. Just before 11 p.m. officers were notified that an alarm was activated at the store. They arrived to smashed glass on the front doors and a vacant store.

"It is important that we obtain information on the identity and the whereabouts of this individual" said Ravenell. "The way he was able to pull off this theft leaves us extremely concerned."
