Traffic stop leads to three arrests and 86 pounds of pot

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV)-- Three people are behind bars after a routine traffic stop led police to two homes containing 86 pounds of pot worth over $390 thousand dollars.
On Wednesday Jan. 25th, North Charleston Police Officers tried to stop a 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo being driven by 29 year-old Antonio Myers. Myers stopped his car near Highway 78 and I-26 ran away on foot. Police caught up with him in a nearby wooded area and found a "quantity of drugs' nearby.
At Myers' home on Mixedwood Drive in Ladson, cops found 35 pounds of marijuana with a street value of around $159 thousand dollars along with a significant amount of cash.
At a second apartment used by Myers at Ashton Woods Apartments on Highway 78 police found another 51 pounds of marijuana worth around $232 thousand dollars and two more suspects: 29 year-old Montae Seabrook and 34 year-old Richard German.
Antonio Myers is charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and possession with intent to distribute marijuana within a half mile proximity of a school.
Myers was also charged by Charleston County Sheriffs with trafficking marijuana.
