
Oklahoma City point guard Russell Westbrook has been named the NBA's Western Conference Player of the Week.
Westbrook averaged 22 points, 7.3 assists, four rebounds and 3.3 steals per game in three games last week -- all Thunder victories. Through 19 games this season, he's averaging 20.8 points, 5.8 assists, 4.7 rebounds and two steals per contest.
The Thunder have won nine of their last ten games and hold the NBA's best record at 16-and-3. They return to the court Monday night at the Los Angeles Clippers.
Miami's LeBron James was the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
