GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV)-- A call for Chinese food turned out to be a trap according to police.

On Sunday January 29th around 10pm, Goose Creek police were called to Hallmark Apartments on Hallmark Drive.

A delivery person from Lam's Garden had gone to 600 Hallmark drive to deliver a food order when she was approached by a black male wearing all black.

The man grabbed her by the back of her shirt and pointed what she said looked like a shotgun at her. The armed robber stole all of the money she had as well as the food order.

He then pushed her to the ground where she fell and injured her knee. She was able to get up and chase him to the parking lot where she saw him get into a white sedan that resembled an unmarked police cruiser and drive off.

According to the police report, the suspect is described as "approximately six foot tall, very thin, wearing all black, including a black skull cap and something covering his face except for his eyes."

The call to Lam's Garden was made from a payphone at the Kangaroo gas station on Red Bank Road. SUrveillance photos of the suspect were taken from the store.

If anyone has any information on this or any crime, they are asked to call Investigator Todd Mason at (843) 863-5200 ext. 354.
