Trying to make sense of the dollar amounts

I have been doing a little digging, with the help of the EPA, on specifics of violations against various companies in the Lowcountry. Many have been fined, most fines in terms of thousands.

I am currently working to get specifics on the types of violations. In my opinion, if a violation is only a few thousand, it is possible it could be something as simple as performing a certain task without the proper permit.

Once I have some more solid information, I will be sure to share.
