Motorcycle crash closes part of highway

LADSON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A man was hospitalized Sunday afternoon with life threatening injuries following an accident on his motorcycle.

Charleston County deputies say the crash involved the motorcycle driver, in addition to one car. The two vehicles collided on Highway 78, in Ladson. One lane of 78 remains open for traffic, all other lanes will be closed until deputies finish their investigation.

The accident victim was taken to Trident Hospital.
