WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCIV) -- A husband and wife have been taken into law enforcement custody after investigators with the Colleton County Sheriff's Office's Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) raided their home on Friday.

George Allen and Sarah Montjoy Hiers of 161 Taft Street, Walterboro have each been charged in connection to what officials describe as a methamphetamine operation.

Colleton County sheriff George A. Malone said their arrests are the result of a investigation that lasted several months.
