Sarah Robertson (Provided)SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- A woman is in custody, and a male suspect is sought after the bust of a meth lab on Dennis Fort Lane on Friday night.
Officials with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office say the meth lab was medium-sized and had been in operation for at least the last six months.
Deputies say it was a tip that led them to the residence. A narcotics agent says several people who lived near the meth bust were evacuated for safety reasons.
As investigators and a HAZMAT team worked the scene, nearby mobile homes were evacuated for safety.
Sarah Elizabeth Robertson, 25, has been taken into custody and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.
