COTTAGEVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- Someone is holding a Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million and has yet to claim their prize.
The ticket was purchased from PT's Zip N Go at 11020 Cottageville Highway.
Penny Thomas is the manager of the convenience store that was buzzing with excitement and curiosity Monday.
"It's a small town and we feel so blessed because our customers truly support us," she said.
The ticket matched all five white ball numbers drawn Friday night. The ticket holder also paid an extra dollar for the Megaplier option to multiply the $250,000 Match 5 prize to an automatic $1 million.
The numbers drawn for the Mega Millions on Friday, February 17 are:
16, 25, 28, 32, and 40 with the Megaball: 3 and Megaplier: 3.
"A lot of time winners don't want to be known, which I certainly understand," Thomas said. "We're hoping its some body local and someone who can use it."
Cottageville resident, Yzette Pinckney, said her mother is in every day buying her share of lottery tickets. As of Monday, she still didn't check to see if she had the winning numbers.
"I'm praying and hoping she may be the millionaire. I hope!"
Already Pinckney had ideas of how the money would be spent.
"Pay the bills. Get out of debt. Take care of the kids."
PT's Zip N Go has had winnings before, with the highest $250,000.
More than 7,500 players in South Carolina hold tickets for prizes from $2 up to $1 million.
Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
