Charleston, SC | Breaking News, Sports, Weather#7 on Colleton's most wanted list taken into custody

COLLETON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Ranking number seven on Colleton County Sheriff's Office most wanted, William Howard Raynor was apprehended this week after a brief foot chase near Oswald and Lemmon Road.

Raynor was then transported to the Colleton County Detention Center.

Officials say Raynor failed to register as a sex offender for a second time and has a probation violation. His victim was a 12-year-old.

Information in reference to his whereabouts was obtained from the public after news media publicized the Colleton County Sheriff's Office Top Ten Most Wanted.
