City of Charleston brings wi-fi to Marion Square

Updated:

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV)-- Mayor Joe Riley announced the launch of a free wi-fi network for Marion Square Park on Wednesday.

With multiple events held in the park every year and the use of the park by residents and college students year round, access to wireless internet will be a welcome amenity.

The "Charleston Free Wi-Fi Network" will be owned and operated by the Charleston Digital Corridor Foundation.
