ST. STEPHEN, S.C. (WCIV) -- Timberland High School's football team got a big treat Friday.

Members of the school's first ever state championship football team were presented their championship rings. What's more was that Timberland graduate and New England Patriots linebacker Tracy White was in attendance.

White spoke to students at the ceremony about the importance of the achievement and helped pass out the rings to the team members.

Timberland defeated an undefeated Woodruff team by a score of 20-3 on December 3, 2011 to take the Class 2A Division I crown.
