On Tuesday the South Carolina Department of Corrections released photos of the aftermath of a destructive prison riot in Ridgeville.
The riot broke out around 10 p.m. on January 18 at Lieber Correctional Institute in Ridgeville.
It took hours for the chaos to calm dawn, and two prison officers were injured during the riot.
