CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- After the pounding of thousands of feet on the pavement of the Ravenel Bridge, and the roaring cheers in passing the bridge run finish line,  Another race begins.

From the moment many runners and walkers cross the finish line, still on a runner's high, bridge run after parties are all the buzz.

You can take your sweaty self to two hotspots that will be sure to make you sweat even more -- Hall's Chophouse and Rooftop at Vendue Inn. Both establishments are "the" places to go post-race, and it's a scene you don't want to miss.

"It's a party," said Tommy Hall, co-owner of Hall's Chophouse. "High endorphin-feeling people keep the party going all day long."

Hall's opened three years ago in March, and Tommy Hall said the bridge run holds a special place in the Hall family's heart -- the event kicked off the opening for their restaurant three years ago.

"Never ran the bridge run, but it feels like I have because it's so busy in here," Hall said.

Hall's will turn into block party central post-race, as King Street will be closed, and blues band Lucky Man Beall will be playing right outside the restaurant.

No need to dress up or change either. Hall said people come into the restaurant with their running attire and numbers still on. Runners can also look forward to Bloody Mary specials, and a meaty cheeseburger to celebrate finishing the race.

"Our truffle fries will get you through the last mile," Hall said.

Halls is located at 434 King Street, but the party doesn't stop there.

Rooftop Bar at Vendue Inn on East Bay Street is a traditional bridge run after-party hot spot. Rooftop employees are slated to come in to work as early as 6 a.m. to prepare for the big celebration.

"It's the biggest day of the year," said John Maxwell, manager of Rooftop Bar at Vendue Inn. "People are at capacity when we open at nine, until we close at midnight."

Folks have been coming straight from the finish line to the rooftop bar for years, where Bloody Mary specials, cold beer, and margaritas are the name of the game. The 360-degree views of Charleston don't hurt either.

"The atmosphere is happy from the endorphins, happy the race is over, and we are happy they are here," said Mike Vaughan, head bartender at Rooftop Bar at Vendue Inn.

The bar is located at 19 Vendue Range Road, right off East Bay.
