CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV)-– PGA Defending Champ Keegan Bradley was taking swings aboard the USS Yorktown today. The goal: to hit buoys out in the harbor.

He reached a few of his targets, and the crowd went wild. They were also celebrating because since he reached the target, everyone in attendance got a complimentary grounds ticket to the 2012 PGA Championship being held on Monday, August 6th.

If you're wondering if you can find a souvenir golf ball out in the water, think again. Bradley used floating golf balls that would later be collected by crews out in the harbor.

Earlier in the day, Bradley played the Ocean Course Golf Course at Kiawah Island Golf Resort. He'll return there in August for the PGA Championship and say golfers who play that course should be ready for a challenge.

"I think you're going to need to be an all around good player and I think that it's going to take every ounce of your game because if you do miss a green you're going to be chipping up or in a tight lie and it's going to be very important," Bradley said.

Defending PGA Champion Keegan Bradley made history last year, becoming the third player in the past 100 years to win a major championship on his first try.
