Defending Champ plays 18 on Ocean Course

Posted: Updated:

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. (AP) -- PGA champion Keegan Bradley has taken his first crack what to do -- and what not to do -- at the site of this year's major, the Ocean Course.

Bradley said Thursday he had heard from fellow PGA Tour competitors that the seaside layout was extremely difficult. He found out first hand in his round. The Ocean Course is the site of the PGA Championship in August. It is the first major golf championship ever played in South Carolina.

Bradley came from four shots down with five holes to play to win his title at the Atlanta Athletic Club last summer. He took three-hold aggregate playoff over Jason Dufner.

Bradley says it took him several months to adjust to the attention that comes with a major win.
