MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- It was loud. Moans groans and a scream or two were heard as about 43,000 bodies packed Coleman Boulevard.
It wasn't the zombie apocalypse. It was the sight and sound of those making their way to the starting line of the Cooper River Bridge Run.
Long before daylight, poor-postured tired bodies could be seen walking the streets of Mount Pleasant -- the race set to begin just after 7 a.m. with the wheelchair group.
