CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV)- Governor Nikki Haley's memoir "Can't Is Not An Option" is finally here. Within the 200-plus pages, she recalls her upbringing as a child of Indian immigrants in rural Bamberg, SC.

Haley appeared on "Good Morning America" Monday and recalled her parents reminding them everyday of "how blessed we were to live in this country."

"They loved the fact that you could be anything that you wanted to be in America and nothing was going to get in your way," she added. The book details the struggles that Gov. Haley's family went through as an Indian family living in a southern town.

During the GMA interview, Mrs. Haley did not escape questions about being Mitt Romney's possible running mate. If she were asked to run for VP on the GOP ticket, she says,"I would not accept. I made a promise to the people of my state and I intend to keep that promise."

"Can't Is Not An Option" retails between $20-$24. If you go to Haley's Facebook page, you can get an autographed copy of the book for a $50 donation.

The governor has stated in the past that sales of the book will go towards a foundation that she has started to help needy communities in South Carolina.

Gov. Haley will sign copies of her book Monday April 9th at Blue Bicycle Books on King Street at 6 p.m.
