NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Employees at Boeing South Carolina needing medical attention can stay at work to get help.
That's because Roper St. Francis Healthcare has an on-site clinic at Boeing's North Charleston facility.
Roper became the on-site medical provider at Boeing South Carolina in late 2011, and has signed an agreement to continue the service through 2016.
"Boeing South Carolina with its large workforce of highly skilled employees contributes greatly to the economic welfare of the Lowcountry and to the state of South Carolina," Roper St. Francis Healthcare president and CEO, David Dunlap said. "Roper St. Francis Healthcare is honored to play a part in keeping our new neighbors healthy and well."
Roper staffs Boeing South Carolina's 2,300 square foot medical clinic with a physician, nurse practitioner, nurses and medical assistant support.
