Missing man's car found in NC

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- George L. Jackson was reported missing on April 27. On Friday officials with the Mount Pleasant Police Department shared his car had been found in North Carolina.

Jackson, a resident of Melvin Bennett Road in Mount Pleasant was last seen on April 26 at about 9:30 p.m. His light-colored 2005 Toyota Camry was reported missing as well.

Officials have not confirmed where in North Carolina Jackson's car was found.

Jackson has ties to the Columbia and Greenville areas.

He is a 69-year-old with grey hair and brown eyes. He is about 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds.
